About
Max Banshees (b. 1998) is an illustrator and comic artist based in Massachusetts. Their work explores horror, sensuality, and pain with the human figure.
Since 2021, they have maintained a publishing practice focused on comics, experimental/historical printing techniques, and digital distribution. In 2022, their comics were sold at Boston Art Book Fair and MICE through MassArt's Zine Scene club, and in 2023, they were invited to illustrate for volume two of the award-winning horror anthology Death in The Mouth.
In 2023, they graduated from MassArt with a BFA in Illustration, and received departmental honors.
