Description: "The hake that hunts itself" (Hharmari: Ne merluch k'z'ehhisa) is a motif similar to the Ouroboros, in that it represents vicious cycles. Unique to Hharmari depictions, however, is the popularity of the double hake, and hakes with their tails oriented to look like spirals (in which case the tails are not being swallowed, rather grasped with their teeth.)
